Der Turm der ursprünglichen Kirche wurde im Oktober 1918 gesprengt und zerstörte beim Fall einen Teil des Kirchenschiffs. Die Kirche wurde 1924 im Ieper-Stil neu erbaut. Das Prunkstück in der Kirche ist das Grabdenkmal von Jacob de Thiennes (gestorben 1534), Herr von Rumbeke, und seiner Frau Katharina von Oignies (gestorben 1545). Außerdem gibt es einen romanischen Taufstein aus weißem Stein (ca. 12. Jahrhundert), eine skulptierte Kommunionbank aus Eichenholz (1734), eine Kanzel (1630), einige Gemälde und das bemerkenswerte Gebetssitz des Grafen von Rumbeke. Der heilige Blasius wird rund um sein Namensfest (3. Februar) verehrt.
