De meteoriet Uden LL7 sloeg in deze buurt in op op 12 juni 1840 (tussen Uden en Volkel).
Op enkele meters afstand van een groepje landarbeiders kwam een voorwerp met een luide knal en een aanzwellend gierend geluid met een klap op een zandweggetje neer.
Het wierp een stofwolk op en sloeg een ondiepe inslagkuil. De ongeveer 720 gram wegende, geheel van smeltkorst voorziene meteoriet is een steenmeteoriet van het type chondriet.
