Rumes er en by og kommune i den belgiske provins Hainaut. Kommunen har over 5000 indbyggere. Rumes ligger i den vestlige del af provinsen, tæt på grænsen til Frankrig, langs vejen fra byen Doornik til de franske byer Orchies og Douai.
Alle historiske data vedrører den nuværende kommune, inklusive delkommuner, som blev skabt efter fusionen den 1. januar 1977.
