El Campo de Tiro de Marcinelle, una antigua pista de tiro, es uno de los lugares de conmemoración más emblemáticos de Charleroi, lleno de emoción e historia, ya que fue testigo de la muerte de aproximadamente 50 personas, ejecutadas por los nazis durante la ocupación. Entre ellos se encuentran el mayor Servais, el comandante Massart, el teniente Evrard y otros héroes cuyos nombres no conocemos.
