Fontænen ved perrontrappen stammer fra 1674 og er et symbol på de indrømmelser, som ærkebiskoppen af Köln gav til byen Spa i 1594. I 1887 blev den omdannet til en fontæne, hvorved retfærdighedssymbolet blev et monument for offentlig nytte.
En høj, buet rund base danner soklen til fontænen. Det smedejernsgitter omgiver fire rektangulære bassiner, der er anlagt i et kors. En imposant stenkrater med fire løvehoveder leverer vandet. Den støbejernstrappe med fyrrekogle er højdepunket, omgivet af tre frøer.
