La capella original va ser construïda al segle XVII . Aquesta antiga capella va ser destruïda durant la Revolució Francesa.
El 1874 el senyor del castell Victor Pycke de Peteghem va manar construir la capella actual prop de la desapareguda.
La capella és de maó vermell amb franges de maó blanc d' estil neoromànic . Té una gran porta d'arc de mig punt amb medalló . Una finestra neoromànica d'arc de mig punt amb columna divisòria il·lumina les façanes laterals.
L' estàtua de la Mare de Déu de Lourdes es troba en una paret que imita una cova, amb una barana de ferro a l'altar. Dues estàtues de Sant Josep i les imatges del Sagrat Cor de Maria, el Sagrat Cor de Jesús i un Via Crucis en guix són els únics adorns a les parets laterals. Al fons hi ha algunes estàtues més petites, cosa que evita que aquesta capella, de mida considerable, estigui sobrecarregada. S'ha conservat el llum metàl·lic del presbiteri .
