Sabadell és una ciutat de Catalunya, cocapital de la comarca del Vallès Occidental juntament amb Terrassa. És la cinquena de Catalunya, amb 216.204 habitants el 2021 i la novena dels Països Catalans. L'existència de nuclis de població en el terme de Sabadell es remunta com a mínim a fa 3.500 anys, com ho demostren troballes arqueològiques a les zones de Can Roqueta i Can Gambús.
