L'any 1430 ja hi havia aquí una església de Sant Nicolò. L'any 1558 es va enderrocar l'antiga església per construir l'actual. Desconsagrada des de mitjans del segle passat, l'església acull actualment l'oficina de la URP (Oficina de Relacions Públiques) i l'oficina de turisme del municipi.
Un bon exemple de l'arquitectura del primer Renaixement, aquest edifici inclou l'església i una casa particular amb dos balcons i una terrassa al segon pis.
