Al costat esquerre del Llarg dóna República do Brasil veiem una petita plaça amb una font, construïda el 1856, amb dos canelles i adorns senzills.
Darrere d'ella es troba un aljub públic comunitari, realitzat en granit . Va ser construït per oferir millors condicions als habitants de la zona i la seva construcció també va finalitzar el 1856. Just al costat del lloc on desemboca el riu Selho , que discorre per sota del jardí en direcció a la Zona de Couros.
Avui dia la funció és purament decorativa.
