Even uden for landsbyen Zandvoorde står en tysk kommando-bunker fra 1916. Bunker har 6 værelser og 2 indgange. Bunkeren fungerede som forbindelse mellem frontlinjen i Hollebeke og hovedkvarteret i Komen. I Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917 kan man se en model samt nogle genstande, der blev fundet under restaureringen.
