Strausberg er en amtsfri by i Landkreis Märkisch-Oderland i Brandenburg. Den tilhører det berlinske storbyområde.
Strausberg ligger 35 kilometer øst-nordøst for Berlin på Barnims højslette, midt i et sø- og skovrigt landskab, der er præget af Weichsel-istiden. Især landskabsprægende er to is-tidsrende, der ligger vest for byen, som i dag danner søkæder, der strækker sig fra syd til nord.
Bykernen ligger ved østsiden af Strausse, den største af de omkringliggende søer, som også inkluderer Bötz-, Ihland- og Fänger-søerne. Delområderne af bydelen Hohenstein er en del af Naturparken Märkische Schweiz.
