Radio Herne er lokalradioen for byen Herne. Det gik i luften i 1990 som Radio Herne 90acht og fik sin licens fra Landesanstalt für Medien Nordrhein-Westfalen. Chefredaktør var indtil 2013 Wolfgang Tatzel, der gik til Radio Vest. Siden juli 2013 har Christine Schindler været chefredaktør for stationen. Som en del af en marketingkampagne fra driftselskabet Westfunk fik stationen sit nye navn den 1. april 2008. Siden programlaunch den 11. januar 2010 kalder stationen sig kun Radio Herne.
