Roermond ) er en kommune i midten af den nederlandske provins Limburg. Den har 59.142 indbyggere og et areal på 74,19 km². Kommunen har to dialekter: Roermonds og Swalms. Roermond spillede en vigtig rolle i den kommunale sammenlægning i Midt-Limburg i 2007. Oprindeligt skulle kommunen udvides med Swalmen. Roermond frygtede, at en udvidelse kun med Swalmen ikke ville give tilstrækkelig administrativ styrke. Swalmen sigtede mod en fusion med Beesel. Behandlingen af lovforslaget i Underhuset og Overhuset førte til gennemførelsen af det oprindelige forslag fra provinsen, hvilket resulterede i en centerkommune med ca. 54.000 indbyggere pr. 1. januar 2007.
