Das Architekten-Duo Gijs Van Vaerenbergh entwarf eine Windmühle aus Stahlbeton, inspiriert von den Linienzeichnungen von Bruegel. In einigen Gemälden und Radierungen von Pieter Bruegel spielt die Mühle eine wichtige Rolle, wie auf der Kreuztragung von 1568. Die leichte Konstruktion verkörpert die frühere Beziehung zwischen der produktiven Landschaft und dem dörflichen Charakter, der längst verschwunden ist. Das Werk steht in einer offenen Landschaft und ist von weitem sichtbar.
