El Ayuntamiento está situado en la Plaza de la Constitución , llamada popularmente "El Paseíllo".
Fue construido en 1952 , en el solar del antiguo convento de Santa Clara , del que se conservan varios lienzos de gran tamaño en el cuerpo principal del edificio.
En la plaza se puede disfrutar de la hermosa vista gracias a los jardines y la fuente central.
