Vroomshoop es una aldea en el municipio de Twenterand en la provincia neerlandesa de Overijssel y forma parte de la región de Twente.
La aldea fue fundada alrededor de 1850, pero ya en 1772 se menciona por primera vez el nombre Vroomshoop. La aldea se encuentra a lo largo del canal de Overijssel, en el lugar donde la rama Zwolle - Vroomshoop termina en la rama Canal Almelo-De Haandrik. El canal se abrió el 5 de septiembre de 1856. El trazado Vroomshoop - Zwolle se abrió el 12 de junio de 1855. El primer tipo de puente fue un puente flotante o scholle.
