Originalmente, esta casa fue durante mucho tiempo una granja. Tras la compra por Willem Hendrik de Beaufort en 1807, se transformó en una mansión. La torre data de 1903. En la segunda mitad del siglo XX, había un hotel establecido. La terraza junto al hermoso estanque en el lado este era conocida en ese momento como la terraza más hermosa de los Países Bajos. Desde 2001, la casa es habitada por particulares. Tanto la casa como el jardín no son accesibles.
