La scuola di recitazione di Bochum è la denominazione istituzionalizzata per i corsi di studio di recitazione e regia nel campus di Bochum dell'Università delle Arti Folkwang.
L'istituzione è stata fondata nel 1939 come Scuola di recitazione Westfälische Bochum da Saladin Schmitt, allora direttore del Teatro di Bochum. La struttura era di proprietà della città di Bochum. Fino agli anni '70, i direttori del Teatro erano anche i direttori artistici della scuola. Nel 2000 la scuola di recitazione passò in esclusiva gestione del Land della Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia e fu associata come sede di Bochum alla Hochschule für Musik Folkwang di Essen, l'odierna Università delle Arti Folkwang.
