L'impianto di sollevamento Petershörn drena l'area consortile di circa 33.100 ettari della Sielacht Bockhorn-Friedeburg attraverso il Dangaster Tief nel bacino di Jade.
L'impianto di sollevamento è stato costruito tra il 1959 e il 1962 a Petersgroden ed è fondato su un sistema di pali profondi 7-11 m costituito da 900 pali di legno. È dotato di quattro pompe a pala in grado di pompare un volume totale di 48 m³/s. La tecnologia è stata completamente rinnovata tra il 2010 e il 2012 e sono state integrate ampie funzioni di monitoraggio e controllo. Da allora, gli impianti di sollevamento secondari Hiddels, Sanderahm, Güstfenne, Gooseschloot e Kalbschloot possono essere controllati da remoto dal centro di controllo dell'impianto di sollevamento Petershörn.
