Isenberg è una collina tra Velbert-Nierenhof e Hattingen. È possibile raggiungere la collina tramite il Balkhauser Weg da sud-ovest (da Nierenhof, lunghezza 1,3 km e 50 metri di dislivello) o da nord-est (dalla valle del fiume Ruhr, lunghezza 1,2 km e 90 metri di dislivello). La vera cima si trova più in alto ed è contrassegnata da una rovina di castello. C'è anche un Kletterpark sulla cima della collina.
