La stazione di Wengern West è un ex punto di sosta nella Ruhrtal nel quartiere di Wengern a Wetter. La Elbschetalbahn dalla stazione di Witten alla stazione di Schwelm lungo la Ruhr e l'Elbsche fu completata negli anni tra il 1910 e il 1934. L'apertura del punto di sosta avvenne il 15 maggio 1934. Il 30 novembre 1979 il traffico passeggeri sulla linea fu sospeso. Dopo che anche il trasporto merci fu sospeso nel 1980, la linea in questo tratto fu dismessa nel 1983 e successivamente smantellata.
