La stazione della metropolitana Bochum Hauptbahnhof si trova sotto la stazione centrale di Bochum. È servita dalle linee U35, 302, 305, 306, 308, 310, 316 e 318 della Stadtbahn Bochum.
La stazione torre dispone di tre livelli. Il livello superiore serve solo come livello di distribuzione e possiede alcuni negozi e un ufficio di servizio della Bogestra. Al livello intermedio fermano le linee a scartamento ridotto 306, 308 e 318. I due binari si trovano su due marciapiedi laterali. Al livello inferiore si trovano in due hall i binari a scartamento normale per la linea U 35 e i binari a scartamento ridotto per le linee del tram 302 e 310, con i due marciapiedi situati tra i binari a scartamento normale che scorrono al centro e i binari a scartamento ridotto esterni.
