Il chiostro dei Récollets, risalente al XIII secolo e notevole per la sua eleganza e semplicità, è un'oasi di serenità nel cuore della città. Nel 1972, Jean-Marie Pelt fondò l'Institut Européen d'Ecologie, che ha tuttora sede qui.
Oggi Les Récollets ospita numerose associazioni e istituzioni che collaborano sui temi dello sviluppo sostenibile, della lotta al cambiamento climatico e della transizione verso l'energia, l'ecologia e la solidarietà. In questo sito si trova anche l'Archivio comunale.
