Broadway è frequentemente definita la 'Gemma dei Cotswolds'. Tipici sono gli alberi di castagno rosso e gli edifici in calcare dei Cotswolds di colore miele, molti risalenti al XVI secolo, e il Green. Il famoso ciclista Harold Briercliffe, che ha fatto tour in bicicletta in tutta la Gran Bretagna, considerava questo villaggio "un po' troppo", o un sovradosaggio. Qui già negli anni '40 c'era turismo quando lui passò di qui.
