Kvernes è un villaggio nel comune di Averøy nella contea di Møre og Romsdal, Norvegia. Si trova sulla costa orientale dell'isola di Averøya, lungo il Kvernesfjorden. La Strada Provinciale 247 attraversa il villaggio. Ci sono due chiese a Kvernes: la Chiesa di Kvernes in legno e la Chiesa di Kvernes. La chiesa in legno è ora un museo.
Il villaggio di Kvernes è stato il centro amministrativo del comune di Kvernes dal 1838 fino al 1964, quando il comune è stato sciolto.
