Vertrekkend aan het Kasteel van Rumbeke rijden we eerst Noordelijk doorheen Oost-Vlaanderen om dan via de Nederlandse grens terug richting Belgische Kust te gaan. Vanuit Nieuwpoort gaat de route dan, langsheen de Ijzer, richting Diksmuide en Ieper. Het laatste stuk brengt ons langsheen een aantal oorlogskerkhoven tot bij het Kasteel van Ingelmunster.
