Het oude riddergoed Seppenhagen werd in de jaren 80 van de vorige eeuw afgebroken. Tegenwoordig bevinden zich op het terrein, dat nog steeds omringd is door een goed bewaarde gracht, nieuwere gebouwen die bouwhistorisch te verwaarlozen zijn. Het landgoed wordt agrarisch gebruikt.
Vandaag de dag is alleen de oude watermolen van het huis buiten de gracht bewaard gebleven, die door de Werse wordt gevoed. De molen draagt de naam Veringsmühle. Deze werd vermoedelijk midden of tegen het einde van de 17e eeuw gebouwd voor de heren van Ketteler. Tegenwoordig wordt de molen als woonhuis gebruikt.
