La caminada comença a San Bartolomé de Tirajana al flanc del Pico de las Nieves .

Travessa la vall de palmeres "Barance de Tirajana" fins a Santa Llúcia , on hi ha molts càterings. En proporcionar una parada a la tarda aquí, aquesta caminada es pot utilitzar com una excursió d'un dia meravellosa. Per exemple, el restaurant Mirador de Santa Lucia ofereix una bonica vista des del restaurant sobre la vall.

Santa Lucia en si és un poble de muntanya acollidor . No menyspreu els desnivells : San Bartolomé es troba a 900 m d'altitud; el punt més profund de la caminada es troba a 615m i la mateixa Santa Llúcia es troba a 700m.

Tot i que es tracta d'una caminada d'anada i tornada per gairebé la mateixa ruta, les vistes són completament diferents .
