The walk starts in San Bartolomé de Tirajana on the flank of the Pico de las Nieves .
She goes through the palm -wooded valley 'Barance de Tirajana' to Santa Lucia where there is plenty of catering. By providing an afternoon stop here, this walk can be used as a wonderful day trip. For example, restaurant Mirador de Santa Lucia offers a beautiful view from the restaurant over the valley.
Santa Lucia itself is a cozy mountain village . Don't underestimate the differences in altitude : San Bartolomé is at an altitude of 900m; the deepest point of the walk is at 615m and Santa Lucia itself is at 700m.
Although this is an out and back walk along almost the same route, the views are completely different .
Be sure to check out the sights for some fun facts!
