Desde el otoño de 2006, la librería selexyz dominicanen ocupa la antigua iglesia dominicana en Maastricht. Hace doscientos años, la iglesia perdió su función sacra, y desde entonces ha servido durante muchos años como casa de serpientes, aparcamiento de bicicletas y templo de carnaval.
La oficina de arquitectura Merkx + Girod diseñó el interior singular de selexyz dominicanen. El diseño ganó en 2007 el premio Lensvelt Architect de interior, el premio más reconocido en este campo en los Países Bajos.
