Les Jardins de la Plaça de les Tortugues est un petit jardin qui abrite la Font de les Tortugues entourée d' orangers amer ( Citrus aurantium ) sur le bord extérieur.
Dans les jardins de cette Plaça de les Tortugues se trouve le monument à Notre Dame du Rosaire , érigé par la ville en mémoire du tsunami de 1755 .
Les tortues qui entourent la fontaine sont considérées comme des animaux porte-bonheur et symbolisent la longévité et la protection . Par conséquent, les tortues apparaissent dans un grand nombre de temples et de villes
