FN Herstal è uno dei 'Dames de la Basse-Meuse'. Alla fine del 1901, qui sulla Voie de Liège, è uscita la prima moto dalla catena di montaggio del marchio che conosciamo ancora oggi come produttore di armi da fuoco. Una richiesta gentile per una visita all'impianto ha incontrato un 'njet' piuttosto prevedibile e stiamo ancora aspettando una risposta da FN alla domanda se negli edifici ci sia ancora qualcosa da vedere dei giorni di gloria dell'industria motociclistica belga.
