Dreisbach è la frazione più piccola del comune di Mettlach nel distretto di Merzig-Wadern. Fino alla fine del 1973, Dreisbach era un comune autonomo. A Dreisbach c'è un ostello per la gioventù molto frequentato.
Dreisbach si trova direttamente al ciclo del Saar. Il luogo prende il nome dal ruscello che sfocia nella Saar. Il corso superiore del ruscello si chiama Salzbach. Il nome del corso inferiore deriva dal gotico Drinsan, che significa cadere o precipitare.
