La passeggiata inizia a San Bartolomé de Tirajana sul fianco del Pico de las Nieves .

Attraversa la valle boscosa di palme "Barance de Tirajana" fino a Santa Lucia , dove c'è abbondanza di ristorazione. Fornendo una sosta pomeridiana qui, questa passeggiata può essere utilizzata come una meravigliosa gita di un giorno. Ad esempio, il ristorante Mirador de Santa Lucia offre una splendida vista dal ristorante sulla valle.

Santa Lucia stessa è un accogliente paesino di montagna . Non sottovalutare i dislivelli : San Bartolomé si trova a 900 m di altitudine; il punto più profondo della passeggiata è a 615m e la stessa Santa Lucia è a 700m.

Sebbene si tratti di una passeggiata di andata e ritorno lungo quasi lo stesso percorso, i panorami sono completamente diversi .
