Approfittate di una sosta a sud di Poitiers per fare una pausa a Joussé, all'ombra dei tigli dell'omonima piazza.
L'attuale mercato coperto sorge al posto del vecchio padiglione in rovina. Fu grazie all'impulso del sindaco dell'epoca, Gustave Baudin, che la città di Joussé acquistò questo padiglione per l'Esposizione Universale del 1900. Una targa di bronzo ai piedi di un pilastro riporta il nome del costruttore, ma è stata ricoperta di cemento.
