Papirfabrikken de Meurs ligger i Neerdorp, en lille landsby under Huizingen ved Molenbeeks nedre løb. Denne fabrik er vokset ud af en papirvandmølle, der igen stammer fra en kornvandmølle. Det er samtidig det sidst bevarede eksempel på en industriel papirfabrik i regionen syd for Bruxelles, som historisk set blev præget af den vigtige vandbaserede papirproduktion. I over 450 år blev der uafbrudt produceret papir her. De fabriksbygninger, der stadig eksisterer i dag, stammer fra perioden 1892-1907.
