Meersel-Dreef har siden ca. 1900 været et kendt pilgrimssted i Belgien og Holland. Hvert år besøger tusinder af troende den velkendte Mariapark "Vor Frue af Meersel-Dreef", der ligger lige overfor klosteret og kapucinerkirken.
Mariaparken (også kaldet "Nåde-dalen") blev allerede anlagt i den tid, hvor det var en klosterpark, men omkring 1890 blev det et offentligt park for folkelig hengivenhed.
