Prinsipatet Monaco er en lille europæisk stat beliggende ved den middelhavske kyst, der består af den eneste by Monaco. Den ligger på Den Azur Kyst, mellem de franske byer Nice og Menton. Den har et areal på 1,95 km² og en befolkning på 36.950 indbyggere.
Monaco har ikke store geografiske ulemper, da prinsippet kun er 1,95 km². Terrænet er en kyststrækning, der er indkapslet i den franske region Provence-Alperne-Côte d'Azur og består af bakker, bugter og en strand.
