Echteld er en landsby i kommunen Neder-Betuwe i den hollandske provins Gelderland. Den ligger lidt øst for Tiel og har ca. 1.050 indbyggere. I 1178 nævnes Echtelte for første gang. Stedet var en dagligherred. I 1271 var der allerede tale om slotte Wijenburg, opkaldt efter slægten Wijhe, som i fem århundreder havde besiddet slottet. Oudmunster i Utrecht skulle i 1139 have modtaget rettighederne til tiende og afgiftsbetalinger fra Echteld.
