A través de la creación de varios senderos semi-pavimentados y la apertura de un bonito bosque privado en la cima de la Koekelareberg, esta ruta de senderismo es una de las mejores dentro del triángulo Oostende-Diksmuide-Torhout. El lazo explora el bellamente diseñado centro del pueblo donde se pueden admirar numerosas obras de arte y el algo extraño Sala Thai. Además, el Oosthofpark, la cuna del municipio y la Swal, una delicada zona natural con vegetación de flores raras y la 'montaña' misma, un ramal de la Ruidenberg y aproximadamente 43 m de altura.
