Oene es un pueblo en el noreste de la provincia holandesa de Gelderland. El pueblo forma parte del municipio de Epe y pertenece a la Veluwe oriental. Oene cuenta con aproximadamente 1,625 habitantes. Oene se encuentra a la altura de Epe y está separada de este por la A50 y el Canal de Apeldoorn. El camino hacia Epe se llama en Oene Eperweg y al otro lado del canal se llama Oenerweg. Oene es un lugar antiguo, por lo que tiene un nombre antiguo. Se deriva del germánico primitivo 'hûn', que significa 'pantano'. De hecho, se encontraba en las riberas del IJssel y tiene un nivel freático alto debido al agua de manantial de la colina de Veluwe.
