Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet est le premier 'outlet' de mode aux Pays-Bas, situé sur le Markermeer à Lelystad. L'outlet tire son nom du navire Batavia de 1628, dont une réplique est amarrée à proximité, au chantier naval de Batavia. Le centre commercial est une imitation d'une ville fortifiée, complète avec un mur de ville épais, trois portes de ville, des rues pavées sans voitures et une série de petits bâtiments en bois avec une apparence architecturale quasi-authentique, partiellement inspirée de Marken, partiellement des colonies des Indes occidentales, où le ‘Batavia’ n'a jamais été en tant que navire de retour miroir de la Compagnie néerlandaise des Indes orientales.
