Una passeggiata attraverso la riserva naturale Lombaarden che si è formata qui circa 12.000 anni fa a causa del Demer che in questo luogo descriveva un ampio meandro. Il forte drenaggio di questo meandro è alla base della differenza di quota tra il centro di Haacht e Lombaarden. Grazie all'alternanza di paesaggi aperti, cespugli, margini boschivi e frutteti, Lombaarden ha un grande valore naturale.
Il percorso naturalistico è un bel sentiero naturale lungo il parco di quartiere de Heerlyckheid di Roost, il dike estivo, la Wilde Heide, il fossato anticarro e il quartiere Scharent.
