Lesse er en af i alt 31 bydele i den frie by Salzgitter i Niedersachsen, beliggende i landsbyen Nordvest. Lesse tilhørte indtil 31. marts 1942 Landkreis Wolfenbüttel og blev gennem en administrativ handling den 1. april 1942 en del af storbyen Watenstedt-Salzgitter. Den 23. januar 1951 blev den officielt omdøbt til Salzgitter.
Lesse blev første gang nævnt skriftligt i 1022. Allerede omkring 1400 bestod stedet af 90 gårde. I 1543 blev stedet overfaldet af tropper fra Braunschweig og fuldstændig ødelagt. I 1529, 1597 og 1598 blev mange indbyggere i Lesse ofre for pesten.
