Pauls[1][2][3] oder Paúls[4] ist eine Gemeinde in Katalonien, Spanien. Sie gehört zur Provinz Tarragona und liegt in der comarca Bajo Ebro. Laut Daten von 2014 betrug die Bevölkerung 596 Einwohner.
Die erste dokumentierte Nachricht über die Gemeinde stammt aus einem Dokument von 1168. Es handelt sich um die Schenkungsurkunde, die König Alfons I. von Aragonien Castle Pauls an Guerau de Riu und Pere de Santmartí sowie Ramón Queralt übertrug. Die Burg wurde ihnen mit der Bedingung übergeben, dass sie sich um die Wiederbesiedlung des Gebiets kümmern. 1205 ging das Herrschaftsgebiet an Drogo de Verdeyo und gehörte im 13. Jahrhundert bereits zur Familie Despuig.
