De Sixtusbossen strekken zich uit op de heuvelrug ten noordwesten van Poperinge. Het is een verzameling van allemaal kleinere bossen en behoort toe tot de welbekende Sint Sixtusabdij, waar monikken hun overheerlijk trappistenbier brouwen. Een bezoekje aan het claustrum, een trappist proeven en een wandeling doorheen de bossen kun je combineren op de Sint-Sixtuswandelroute (7,1 km). Deze is verkrijgbaar op de Dienst voor Toerisme Poperinge.
