Het Woodhead-reservoir is een door mensen gemaakt meer nabij het gehucht Woodhead in Longdendale in Noord-Derbshire. Het werd gebouwd door John Frederick Bateman tussen 1847 en juni 1877 als onderdeel van de Longdendale-keten om water van de rivier de Etherow naar de stedelijke gebieden van Groot-Manchester te leveren. Het ligt bovenaan de keten van reservoirs en was de eerste die gestart werd, maar door bouwproblemen was het de laatste die voltooid werd.
