L'Ajuntament està situat a la plaça de la Constitució , anomenada popularment "El Paseíllo".
Va ser construït l'any 1952 , al solar de l' antic convent de Santa Clara , del qual s'han conservat diverses teles de grans dimensions al cos principal de l'edifici.
A la plaça es pot gaudir de la bonica vista gràcies als jardins i la font central.
