Omringet af sin gamle kirkegård, danner Sankt Vaast-kirken en lille kirke i Doornik-sten. Bygningen blev hovedsageligt opført i det 15. og 16. århundrede i henhold til traditionen for den doornikiske gotik.
På den nordlige og østlige side er der stadig rester af de romanske mure fra det 11. århundrede. Bygningen brændte ned i 1693 under Augsburg-forbundets krig. Kirken gennemgik store ombygninger, men blev restaureret i 2001. Indenfor bemærkes prædikestolen (17. århundrede), skrifte stolen (18. århundrede), statuerne af Sankt Vaast og Sankt Eloi samt læserkandelabre (15. århundrede).
