Die Sint-Laurentius ist eine aus Backstein errichtete neogotische Kirche, die 1922 nach einem Entwurf von Henri Carbon und Henri Pil aus Ostende gebaut wurde. Diese Architekten waren ebenfalls für das Design der Möbel verantwortlich.
Um die Zugänglichkeit zu optimieren, wurde beschlossen, die Zugangsrichtung gegen die Konvention auf die Westendelaan auszurichten und nicht, wie üblich, mit dem Chor nach Osten.
Das Innere ist unverputzt, was dem Ganzen eine schlichte und klare Ausstrahlung verleiht.
Im Chor befindet sich ein Glasfenster, das eine Darstellung der Sieben Sakramente zeigt. Es wurde von der Firma Desmet aus Brügge hergestellt.
